The Transform Weekend – Murang’a Edition, part of our Transforming Africa Vision 2030 and the ongoing Mission 1000 Souls campaign, was a powerful testament to what God is doing in this Year to Settle through Overcoming Faith Church (OFC) under the leadership of Bishop Peter Ndungu.
Hosted by the OFC Mariaini, this two-day outreach brought together believers and seekers from far and wide — Karugia, Sabasaba, Kenol, OFC Thika Road, Nairobi, Githurai 45, Embakasi, Mariaini, Juja Farm, and Kamulu — all gathering in Murang’a for a weekend of spiritual empowerment, worship, and deep encounter with God.
The results were extraordinary:
- 400 young people assembled with open hearts and minds.
- 194 souls won for Christ, bringing us closer to our Mission 1000 Souls target.
- Every participant, young and old, received personal prayers, prophetic impartation, and anointing from Bishop Peter and the OFC Pastors, alongside Bishop Kariz, founder of the Count Me In Movement.
In line with our commitment to Transforming Africa, the young people attended impactful empowerment workshops covering:
- Navigating Peer Pressure
- Sexuality and Purity
- Drugs and Substance Abuse
- Faith and Overcoming Doubt
- Healthy Relationships
- Digital Literacy & Wellness Skills
Facilitated by Count Me In Trainers and OFC Leaders, these sessions equipped participants with biblical principles and practical life skills to navigate today’s challenges and walk confidently in their God-given destinies.
Next Stop – Transform Weekend: Githurai 45
As part of the Transforming Africa Vision 2030, we are heading to Githurai 45 for the next Transform Weekend, and expectations are soaring! If Murang’a was anything to go by, this next mission will be even greater — more souls saved, more young lives transformed, and more communities reached with the Gospel.
